About Us

The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, a growing $1.9 billion, full-service mutual savings bank, seeks an experienced manager of accounting and finance with a strong community banking background to lead a team of two officers and seven staff members. The chosen candidate will be responsible for accounting operations and financial planning processes, including general accounting, financial statement preparation, Federal and State Bank taxation, insurances, budgeting, and ALCO. A major project will be to establish a profitability measurement and business analytics function. This key position, which is an add-to-staff, will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration. CPA a plus.
• Ten years of recent experience in Banking, preferably mutual savings bank industry.
• At least ten years experience in all facets of bank accounting, investments, financial reporting,and staff management.
• Thorough knowledge of bank and accounting compliance regulations.
• Demonstrated success with profitability analysis and business analytics in the banking or financial services is a plus.
• Advanced ability to use, implement and convert spreadsheets, databases, and other computer applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, project management and collaborative team-building skills.
• Ability to be precise and meet strict deadlines
