Commercial Lending Position – Nantucket
The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank, a full service mutual savings bank with assets nearing $2 billion, seeks an experienced professional to develop commercial lending and deposit opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as Relationship Manager/Account Officer for assigned and originated loans
- Carries out ongoing business development programs to promote the Bank’s Business Banking services
- Evaluates prospective loan requests by review and analyzing customer’s financial, credit and tax information
- Ensures that all loan documents are obtained after closing
- Participates in planning and goal setting for the lending division
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in or its equivalent
- Specialized training in lending, credit or related subjects
- Five years of progressively responsible commercial lending experience
- Sound credit background
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Well developed analytical, organizational, interpersonal, negotiation, decision-making and managerial skills
