Accounting Manager
The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to manage the daily operations of the Accounting Department, including the following processes: Month-end close/GL Reconciliations, Bank Investments, Fixed Assets, Call Report, Federal Reserve, PMCR, and Taxes. This position will also act as back-up to the Controller.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent. Masters in Accounting preferred.
- Six or more years of Accounting experience in Banking.
- Two or more years of managerial experience.
- Knowledge of state and federal banking compliance regulations and general bank operational policies and best practices.
- Audit/risk management experience preferable, specifically with respect to the internal control framework over financial reporting.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong knowledge and experience with computerized GL systems, FMS highly desirable.
- Proficient knowledge of investments and computerized investment programs.
