Visa^® Check Card

When you would have used a check, you'll save time by using the Cape Cod Five Visa^® Check Card instead. It's almost as easy as using cash when shopping or dining. No check to write! No ID to show! No waiting for check approval! For online transactions at Visa's participating businesses, it employs "Verify by Visa^®" for state-of-the-art online security.

Make purchases wherever Visa^® is accepted. Just present your card at the time of purchase, and the amount will automatically be deducted from your checking account. You'll get a signed receipt. Then on your monthly checking account statement, every purchase will be detailed - with the amount and merchant identification. So it's simple to keep track of how much you're spending.

• Use your card to withdraw cash at Cirrus and NYCE, ATMs worldwide. (Non Cape Cod Five ATM usage is subject to a $1 per transaction charge. Other banks may also impose their own charges which will not be waived.)
• Cape Cod Five participates in the SUM program representing hundreds of ATMs (mostly in Massachusetts) which do not impose surcharges to customers of participating institutions. For additional information, visit the SUM website at www.sum-atm.com anytime.

ATM - only

A regular ATM Card is offered by Cape Cod Five. This card does not include the Check Card's Visa^® purchasing power.

Surcharge Free ATMs

Cape Cod Five has joined the NYCE network SUM ProgramSM. ATM owners that join the SUM program agree to allow all other program members' customers to use designated ATMs surcharge-free. Therefore, if you use ATMs with the SUM logo, you will not be assessed surcharges on your ATM withdrawal. Get more information about the SUM Program or to find specific banks or towns which have SUM ATMs.

Reorder Checks

If you are 18 years of age or younger or 65 years of age or older and have signed a fee exemption form you are entitled to basic bank checks at no charge. Please contact the Customer Service Center before placing your order.

Overdraft Line of Credit

Upon application approval, an Overdraft Line of Credit provides overdraft protection on your checking account. Activity appears on a monthly account statement/bill.

Government Securities

Cape Cod Five participates in the Treasury Direct program. Ask at any of our branches for further details.
