Cape Cod 5 Announces Wealth Management Promotions

Hyannis, MA –  Cape Cod 5 recently announced the promotions of Rachael Aiken to Chief Wealth Management Officer and Joe King to Chief Fiduciary Officer, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to experienced, relationship-driven leadership and exceptional client service. Rachael Aiken

In her new role as Chief Wealth Management Officer, Rachael will oversee all aspects of the Bank’s Wealth Management business, including the Trust and Asset Management and Investment Services teams. With more than two decades of wealth management experience, including over ten years with Cape Cod 5, she brings strategic vision and a client-centered approach to delivering comprehensive financial solutions.

Throughout her tenure with the Bank, Rachael has held senior investment leadership roles, including Director of Investments. She brings professional experience from a national brokerage firm and a Massachusetts-based bank investment management group. Her career has been defined by disciplined investment strategy, thoughtful asset allocation, and a steadfast dedication to helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Rachael earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bucknell University and attained the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) designation in 2006. Active in the community, Rachael has served in the board of the Cape Cod Community College Educational Foundation since 2028 with service as Treasurer and is the recent past Chair. She remains actively involved in the Centerville community, where she resides with her husband.

Joe KingJoe King, who joined Cape Cod 5 in 2018, brings over 20 years of experience in trust administration and fiduciary services to his new role as Chief Fiduciary Officer. He will continue to guide the Bank’s fiduciary strategy and oversee trust administration, estate settlement and related services, ensuring that clients receive thoughtful, responsive and technically sound support.

Prior to joining Cape Cod 5, Joe served as senior vice president & trust counsel for a local investment firm, where he managed trust administration and fiduciary services. Earlier in his career, he held trust management roles with increasing responsibility at both national and regional trust companies.

Joe earned his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Fordham University. In addition, Joe has completed the New England School of Banking Trust Program and attended Cannon Private Banking School.
