Cape Cod 5 Holds Groundbreaking Celebration for New Hub Location in Plymouth
Located on Commerce Way and includes full-service Banking Center

Release date: November 29, 2022

Hyannis, MA
– Cape Cod 5 Trustees, Executive Management and members of its Senior Leadership Team joined together on Thursday, November 17, to officially break ground on the Bank’s new hub location on Commerce Way in Plymouth. This development, which will include a full-service Banking Center, is one of two new locations in Plymouth scheduled to open in early 2024, subject to town and regulatory approval. The Bank also recently announced plans for a new Banking Center in The Pinehills.

“The thoughtful design and development of this new facility, as well as the selection of the location on Commerce Way at the intersection of Plympton Road, symbolize our commitment to serving local consumers and businesses in the Plymouth area, and to being an even more active participant in the region,” said Matt Burke, CEO of Cape Cod 5. “With our expanded physical presence, we will offer more convenience for customers, however they choose to engage with us. Our talented team members, who have been serving members of this community for many years, will have a state-of-the-art facility from which to continue being trusted advisors."

This new hub location will include a newly constructed 5,500 square foot facility that will feature a full-service Banking Center with drive-up, as well as access to commercial and residential lending and wealth management services. There will also be additional space to hold larger meetings and financial know-how events for customers and community members.

Earlier this year, Cape Cod 5 also announced plans for a new Banking Center at Rowen, a new mixed-use neighborhood currently under construction in The Pinehills Village Green, also scheduled to open in 2023, pending town and regulatory approval. The Bank will move from its existing location in The Pinehills to this larger, upgraded space to expand its service to residents in the surrounding area. Along with an ATM at The Market, Cape Cod 5 has been a part of The Pinehills since 2015 when it opened its first office there.

Cape Cod 5 has long had a presence in Plymouth County, with existing Banking Centers at The Pinehills and in Wareham, along with Lending and Wealth Management Offices located in West Plymouth and Marion. To view all Cape Cod 5 locations, visit www.capecodfive.com/locations.
