How it Works

The Loan Payment Center is a convenient new service offered by Cape Cod 5 that allows you to pay your consumer loans online using a bank account. Several secure payment solutions are available:

Quick Payments  

  • Fast and easy – simply click on the PAY NOW button, enter your account number, first name, date of birth, pay-from account information, email address and the amount you'd like to pay, hit submit, and you're done!

Signed-In Payments  

  • Create a profile with a username and password and store account credentials to expedite future payments. Registered users can set preferences, review previous payment history and make recurring or non-recurring payments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of loans can I make payments on using the Loan Payment Center?

Consumer loans can be paid through the Loan Payment Center, including residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, HEAT loans and overdraft protection service fees.

Can I make payments for multiple loans at the same time?

The system allows payment for only one loan at a time.

Can I make a payment for more than the regular amount due?

In most cases, you will be able to make a payment that is up to $1,000.00 in excess of your regular payment amount.

What kinds of payment methods can I use?

You may use your checking, savings or money market account. Payments with credit cards or PayPal are not available at this time.

When do payments process?

Immediate payments process each evening following a business day. Scheduled payments will process on the business day for which they are scheduled.

What is the cut-off time for submitting a payment?

The cut-off time for submitting a payment is 9:00 p.m. EST. Payments submitted after 9:00 p.m. EST will be processed on the next business day. 

How do I know my payment was submitted?

As a signed-in user, you will be able to retain payment history. Your payment will appear in your payment history immediately after it is submitted while it is awaiting processing. You may also call our Customer Service Center at 888-225-4636 and we will verify that it has been submitted.

I accidentally submitted a payment. Can I cancel it?

If a payment has not yet processed, we can assist with cancelling the payment. Please contact our Customer Service Center at 888-225-4636.

Do I need to create a username and password to use the Loan Payment Center?

If you use the PAY NOW feature to make a quick payment, you will not need to create a username and password – simply enter your account number, first name, date of birth and pay-from account information. The Loan Payment Center does require you to create a new account if you are making a signed-in payment, which allows you to retain payment history and save pay-from account information so that it doesn’t need to be re-entered at the time of each payment.

What are the password requirements?

Passwords must be:

  1. At least 8 characters long
  2. Contain upper and lower case letters
  3. Contain at least one number
  4. Must not contain your username
  5. Can not be set to any of the 5 previous passwords used
Can co-borrowers use the Loan Payment Center?

Yes, co-borrowers are eligible to use the Loan Payment Center to make payments.
