What information is required to set up an appointment?
  • We ask for your name, e-mail address, the best phone number to contact you at and physical address.
  • We will also ask for acknowledgement that you have not traveled out of Massachusetts or traveled by airplane, train, bus or other mass transit in the past 14 days and that neither you nor a family member(s) are currently experiencing flu-like COVID symptoms.
  • Please provide the first name and last names of all people who will be in attendance at this appointment.
  • If you are requesting an appointment to access a your Safe Deposit Box Number, please provide the box number.
How do I know if my request for an appointment has been confirmed?
A confirmation email detailing the day, time and location of your appointment request will be sent to the email address provided in the appointment booking form. In addition, Cape Cod 5 will confirm via a phone call to the number provided in the appointment booking form.
How far in advance can an appointment request be made?
Requests for access to a safe deposit box or in-person appointment can be made up to 30 days in advance.
Is there a time limit to this appointment?
Appointments of up to 15 minutes or less will be available for certain transactions at a Banking Center, including access to a safe deposit box.
If I am experiencing COVID like symptoms, should I cancel my appointment request?
Yes. If you or a member of your family that you are exposed to are exhibiting COVID like symptoms as described by the CDC, please cancel your appointment request as soon as possible.
What are the hours to access a Safe Deposit Box?
Please note that safe deposit box access at select Banking Center locations will be available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the last available appointment at 3:00 pm. Safety Protocols When Visiting a Banking Center 

  • You will be asked to attest to your good health and that of your household members when confirming your request for an appointment.
  • Face coverings will be required in the Banking Center at all times. If you do not have a mask, the Bank will provide one to you when you arrive. If you are not able to wear a face covering for medical or other reasons, we ask that you please notify us in advance of your appointment and we will make alternate arrangements to serve your needs.
  • Everyone should maintain physical distance between themselves and others while in a Banking Center.
  • If possible, please come by yourself to your appointment. If others will join you, please notify us when requesting an appointment.
